Prime Minister slammed by UKIP for u-turn on Inheritance tax

The Prime Minister has been slammed by UKIP's Head of Policy Unit after yet another u-turn, this time on Inheritance tax.

UKIP's Head of Policy Unit Tim Aker said: "Seven years ago the Tories promised to raise the inheritance tax threshold to £1m. They quickly abandoned this pledge for the sake of power and getting their feet under the table of government with Nick Clegg's Liberal Democrats. Nearly four years into government and they’ve done nothing. The Tories latest desperate policy announcement should be treated like the others.

William Dartmouth said: “What Putin has done is wrong but the West has played a terrible hand. Nobody should ever ask William Hague to play poker on their behalf, that’s for sure.

“The EU encouraged Western Ukrainians to think a future as a member state and large net recipient of funds was beckoning. The population then toppled a legitimate president.

Tories give game away with patronising bingo campaign

UKIP Deputy Leader Paul Nuttall has slammed the Conservative Party's patronising new bingo campaign.

Today's Budget has let down aspirational families says UKIP Leader Nigel Farage

Today's Budget has let down aspirational families says UKIP Leader Nigel Farage writing for the Daily Mail Online:

"Amazingly a Conservative Chancellor is proposing to close a parliament with a threshold for the 40 per cent tax band that is significantly lower than it was at the start of the parliament.

Lots of aspirational families will be forgiven for wondering why they bother to go the extra mile. The danger for the economy is that some will simply stop doing so.

UKIP Economics Spokesman Steven Woolfe responds to the Budget

Responding to the Budget, UKIP's Economics Spokesman Steven Woolfe said:

"This government was formed to deal with and eliminate the deficit over the course of this Parliament. By their own admission today, they have utterly failed.

The government itself has admitted that they are way off track on the deficit from what they promised in 2010. The deficit is still dangerously high at £108 billion and their ambitious deficit reduction projections are not credible given their track record.
